St Paul’s Church is delighted to announce its annual Summer Fete, taking place on Saturday 16th August from 12 noon to 5pm on the church grounds at St Paul’s Square.

This much-loved community event promises a day of family-friendly entertainment, delicious food, live music, and local charm—all in aid of raising essential funds for the upkeep of the church and its outreach work.
This year’s fete will feature:
- A dog agility course—bring your four-legged friends and show off their skills!
- A wide range of market stalls run in collaboration with the Birmingham Artisan Market, showcasing handmade crafts, local produce, gifts, and more.
- A tempting variety of food stalls and sweet treats.
- Live music and dance throughout the day from local performers.
- Bouncy castle.
- Classic cars.
St Paul’s would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors and supporters, whose contributions have made this event possible. This year’s sponsors are Cucina Rusticana and Kangs Solicitors.
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. Bring your friends, family, and neighbours for a day of summer celebration while supporting a vital part of our community.
The fete is also supported by a very popular annual raffle, with the winning tickets drawn at 4.30pm on the day of the fete. This year’s prizes include:
- A 2-night stay in a fisherman’s cottage in St Ives
- Food and drink for two people at Hockley Social Club
- A meal for two people at Otto’s Pizzas
- Bottle of Champagne
- Hair appointment at Hazel & Haydn.
Raffle tickets can be bought before the fete at the church, at Hazel & Haydn and at RBSA’s Gallery. Tickets will be on sale during the fete on 16th August as well.
The Reverend David Tomlinson, Vicar of St Paul’s Church says it should be a great day:
“We always have tremendous fun at the church’s annual fete and this year is set to be the biggest and the best in my time at St Paul’s. The church will be open for guided tours or a few moments of quiet contemplation away from the crowds. The market is a monthly attraction and always very popular. The raffle prizes are terrific. And everyone who spends money will be protecting this beautiful, iconic church for this and future generations by contributing to the Raise the Roof campaign.”
