Thank you for visiting our website. We hope you find the information you’re looking for and feel inspired by the work we do at St. Paul’s.
If you would like to support the church financially, we warmly welcome your donation. In particular, we are fundraising to save the church from catastrophic water damage by replacing the roof. So far we have raised £180,000, and are making grant applications, but we urgently need to press on towards our total of £660,000.
If you like to contribute to the weekly costs of running the church or to the Raise the Roof campaign, you can click the donation button below.
Should you have any questions or wish to make contact for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact us at enquiries@stpaulsjq.church.
We would be pleased to help.
– David Tomlinson, Vicar
Our very own Rev. David Tomlinson is continuing the ‘Raise the Roof’ fundraising efforts with a 205 mile, from dawn to dusk, sponsored bike ride on 21st June.
He’s busy training and preparing for this epic bike ride at the minute – so why not show him your support, while also supporting the continuing efforts of the ‘Raise the Roof’ campaign by donating:

David says:
“As Vicar of the historic and iconic St Paul’s Church I will be cycling 205 miles from dawn to dusk on 21 June to raise funds to save St Paul’s Church in the Jewellery Quarter from catastrophic water damage.
We urgently need to replace the roof to safeguard this historic and iconic building. Besides being a church, it is a superb venue for concert and communal events.
Many individuals and businesses have given generously to this Raise the Roof campaign over the last 18 months raising £180,000 so it seems opportune for me to once again jump on my bike to add to this growing figure.”
Many thanks!

The service lasts just over an hour, and is characterised by spoken prayers, stillness, Bible readings, music and singing, and an invitation to receive bread and wine, or a prayer of blessing. Afterwards, you can linger for light refreshments and to connect with others who are there.
Come to pray or to reflect: For those seeking a quiet moment of reflection or to pray, the church is open for individual private prayer from 11-2 pm Monday to Friday.
Enjoy the beauty and history of this iconic church: you can do a self-guided tour of the church using the guides or ask for a guided tour if one of our volunteers is available.
Weekly Midday Prayer: Midday Prayer meetings every Monday and Wednesday at 12:30 am which lasts 15 minutes or so. This is when the prayer requests left in the prayer chapel are prayed..
Online Worship Service: If accessing the church building is challenging for you, we extend a warm invitation to join our Sunday worship service online at 10:30 AM via Zoom. To join, please email onlineservices@stpaulsjq.church, and we will guide you on how to connect with us digitally.
