St Paul’s Church is at the heart of the JQ and celebrates the life of the JQ in all its vibrant diversity. The JQ Neighbourhood Forum meets regularly at St Paul’s and it is a popular venue for political leaders to meet local residents. The Mayor of the West Midlands is a recent speaker and we have also hosted events for St Marys Hospice, the Federation of Birmingham Ex-service Associations, National AIDs Remembrance Day, the Merchant Navy Association and Creative Connections a Christmas Concert performed by various schools from East Birmingham.

We provide space for exhibitions. CORE Trust recently mounted an exhibition about the Holocaust as part of the Echo Eternal Festival. We are looking forward to the Birmingham City University staging an exhibition of student jewellery making. We provide space for local businesses to exhibit their work and future enterprises. St Paul’s is an ideal space for Award Ceremonies and other important occasions.

Asylum Seekers

Our congregation at St Paul’s Church includes a large proportion of Asylum Seekers and Refugees therefore we are looking at ways in which we can further support our members and welcome others with a similar background and needs.

Venue Hire

St Paul’s Church is an ideal venue for business breakfasts, workshops, creative classes and other social events. If you would like to host an event in one of our spaces please get in touch via the enquiry form on our Venue Hire page.

Volunteer

We’re looking for folk to volunteer at gigs and events to improve the visitor experience. It’s a public facing role in a busy, friendly environment, every night is different. There’s also a chance to see some rather wonderful music as a little bonus!
